⦁ GDCE process for ALP/Technicians

The candidate has to submit the online application through the link provided on the official website of RRC Bhubaneswar. CBT will be involved during the entire recruitment process. And Computer Based Aptitude Test, Document Verification and Medical Examination will also be conducted. There will be two Part A and Part B of the CBT conducted as detailed in the table below.

Part-A-Duration: 90 minutes.(120 minutes for PwBD candidates eligible with scribe), Number of Questions-100, Qualifying Marks: Marks obtained in Part-A will be used for shortlisting of candidates for further stages of recruitment subject to the candidate obtaining qualifying marks in Part-B.

Part-B-Duration: 60 minutes. (80 minutes with scribe for PwBD candidates), Number of Questions: Will be 75, Qualifying Marks: Will be 35%, this will be applicable to all the candidates in which no relaxation will be admissible, this part is qualifying in nature and questions will be asked from the syllabus of the trade prescribed by the Director General of Employment & Training (DGET). Candidates having ITI/Trade Apprenticeship qualification will have to appear in questions of the trade. And for ALP candidates having Diploma, Degree will have to select the trade from the list of trades as per engineering discipline.

For those who have opted for ALP-Computer Based Aptitude Test will be conducted only. Computer Based Aptitude Test will be conducted only for those candidates who have opted for ALP. Qualifying Marks: A minimum of 42 marks must be obtained in each test to qualify, and no relaxation will be admissible, hence applicable to all candidates. On qualifying in Part-B of CBT (for ALP) on the basis of performance in both Part A, Part-B of CBT and in Computer Based AT, will be called for Document Verification.

⦁ GDCE process for Junior Engineers- Online application has to be submitted by the candidate through the link on the official website of RRC Bhubaneswar. The entire recruitment process will consist of Computer Based Test (CBT), and Document Verification/ Medical Examination. Selection will be done on the basis of CBT only. The duration of Computer Based Test CBT will be 120 minutes including 160 minutes with scribe for PwBD candidates and the number of questions will be 150.

⦁ GDCE process for Guard/Train Manager- Online application has to be submitted by the candidate through the link on the official website of RRC Bhubaneswar. ⦁ Stages of Examination: There will be (CBT) Computer Based Test followed by Aptitude Test wherever applicable, Medical Examination, Document Verification. There will not be any CBT, Aptitude Test, Supplementary Exam again for the candidates absent in the exam in any manner.
